Are you an established psychologist who believes in providing excellent clinical care while making a meaningful difference in the lives of your patients? Do you want to contribute to the future of psychology training within an established training program? Expand Psychology is seeking full-time licensed psychologists to join our growing team across our Falls Church and Old Town Alexandria locations to continue their therapy career while helping us to train the next generation of clinicians.

Why Join Expand Psychology?

Since 2005, we have grown into a thriving multidisciplinary practice of more than 20 clinicians while maintaining the collaborative and supportive culture that has defined us from the beginning. Serving Northern Virginia and the greater Washington, D.C. region, Expand Psychology has earned a reputation as a trusted provider of high-quality mental health care for children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Our longstanding relationships with pediatricians, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations have allowed us to build a strong referral network that consistently supports clinicians in developing and maintaining full caseloads.

We offer the best of both worlds: the stability, reputation, and resources of an established group practice combined with the flexibility and professional autonomy clinicians value. Whether your passion lies in individual therapy, parent consultation, couples therapy, or psychological assessment, we support you in building a career aligned with your interests and strengths.

As an established training program for pre-doctoral psychology externs, post-doctoral psychology residents, counseling residents, and social work residents, Expand Psychology is an enriching home for life-long learning with opportunities for seasoned clinicians to support the growth of their early career colleagues.

Our mission is simple: support our clients and our team in leading fulfilling, meaningful lives.
